Hayik : soothsayer for yearly future
Gaje : dancers who do the traditional dance
gonde: a thing in the hands of dancers for the decorative purpose
Dasara : after this auspicious festival every danger vasti participate into the celebrations of their area
Horses: used to carriage their homes from one place to another
winter marks their movement from monsoon residence to another place.
Gofan : used to take care of tackles, wolves, fasepardhi
Gulal : used in the festival celebrations
biroba, Jotiba, Khandoba : demigods ( avatar of shiva)
Maharaja : local man with supernatural powers turns into the demigod
monsoon in Parner : fast with the wind , doesn’t remain or create slush due to the porous nature of the rocks. Everything flows down and meets the river beyond
