The Bigh Temple - Tanjavur

Tanjavur a town around 100kms from the ocean is part of Tamilnadu state. It has all the ingrediant which makes it irresistable to visit. Known for it's beautiful and grand temple known as big temple.
Also traditional tanjore style paintings , bhosle palace and of course tanjore dolls. We had really less time and planned to cover all. But when we went inside the temple complex we end up spening all time there. Later to be trapped in the heavy rain and travelling to Rameswara via East Coastal Highway in the late night.
